Cluster day 2024

December 18, 2024. Last week, Light Mobility Cluster participated in the annual Cluster Day event organized by ACCIÓ in Girona. This year, the event focused on purpose-driven business growth, bringing together over 200 attendees, including cluster colleagues, entrepreneurs, and key players from the business ecosystem.

Throughout the event, two key drivers were highlighted: the cluster environment and conscious capitalism.

The opening address was delivered by Joan Martí, Director of the Strategy and Clusters Unit at ACCIÓ. This was followed by several roundtable discussions in which cluster managers, companies, and investors shared essential insights for achieving organic and purpose-driven growth, discussing:

• How to overcome the three major barriers to growth in our environment: business culture, scalability of the business model, and access to funding.
• How to grow both organically and inorganically (through mergers and acquisitions).
• How to grow in a healthy way with a clear purpose.

Topics covered included: innovation, process digitalization, talent management, internationalization, strong leadership with strategic alliances and aligned partners, business scalability and diversification, and finally, shared value as the DNA of strategy and purpose.

The event concluded with a keynote by Michael Enright, an expert in business growth and strategy. Considered one of the world’s leading strategy gurus, Enright provided a global economic analysis and models, offering strategies for companies and clusters to generate a positive impact on society.
